There are some good tips in there. Thanks for sharing. 500 sats, ka- ching!!
The tights trick is definitely a girlie trick :) and a new one on me. They make great Paint strainers, but not seen It used like that for caulking.
Can't have enough pots with lids. There are some posts where I was working on a nativity installation. We were making, not just mixing paint. Kéfir Pots, lids and marker pens saved the day.
Spray measuring Pots are great to have around too, especially if using additives like conditoner where you need accuracy not feel.
The best Paint pot ever invented is the Wooster Pelícan. That comes with liners and lids, even better.
The tray liner - that does work well if you have a bunch of colour changes. Cuts right down on cleaning.
If you only have one or two colours, though, there's little advantage to using a liner.IMO Brushing excess Paint out a tray doesnt take much and any residue dries hard by Next day. I also have half a dozen Wooster Big Ben trays for rolling which I rotate so they don't get clogged Up really.
If you have more painting work next day, there's a zip Up plastic bag that takes Up to 14" trays, so you only need to clean out the tray once at end of the job. Quite handy.
Ever seen a heated Paint kettle? Flow Control. That's ideal in cooler countries, for oíl and acrylic Paint.
Any custom made accessory is the result of a make-do trick / workaround. So, whilst I do use the get out of jail tricks now and again, painting every day, and under the customer spotlight, for me, the custom "expensive" options often work out cheaper and easier.
