The painting and decorating gurús all hang out on Youtube, fb and Twitter etc. And they sure have no idea what Nostr is.

A lot of the legacy OGs especially in UK and US probably know me or of me or have mutual friends from back in the day when I was in a group leading the way in online marketing in the painting trade.

Back then the trades were breaking rocks on Yellow Page and brochure websites, unaware of how search engines worked, or how blogging or social media could be joined Up.

Here we are again at a point in time in general construction, not just #painting, where it's time to move on from the legacy tools that have worked, but now come at too high a price on all levels.

Do your builders and Painter contacts a favour and tell them about my account. Not because I want loads of followers, but so I can try explain whats going on here, Painter to painter.

Talk of relays, Keys, notes, events and nips is not going to convince a single Painter on twitter to upsticks to Nostr. So they have to build their community from zero with no algorithms to help. Nostr isnt an app it's an open internet. It's not a platform on the http internet, it's the backbone of an open Wild West internet thats formed but Rough round the edges. So not an easy sell either. But neither was Twitter, blogging and SEO in 2009.

But there is the killer app - zaps - which makes sense to any YouTube influencer with a ridiculoudly archaic Buy me a Coffee icon running vía PayPal or stripe.

Anyway, any help welcome. I am aiming to Contact one Painter a day. I'm old, OK!

If you see any hashtags with Painter, say Hi to the poster. We all have homes to maintain. And tell them that if they can swap just a few percent of their profits into BTC they can create a safety Net even in these hard times. But don't go on as though BTC is the only chat in town. 😂
